When you advance within the same class line, you can mix in skills from your previous class while adding new skills. So right after advancing, it is easier to understand if you keep the core of your deck and look at what role each newly acquired skill will take. Just because your advancement stage is higher, you do not need to fill every slot with new skills.
First, Match Your Own Advancement Stage
T1–T8 in this article mean Rank1–8, the class stages in the game settings. T1 is the base class, and from T2 upward you move to higher classes. Character level, class level, total class level, and the skill's own grade must each be checked as separate growth conditions.
The global client downloaded on 2026-10-25 contains 30 named classes and class settings up to T8. This is the data range prepared by that client. Whether T8 is open on the region or server you play on, and whether the same stages were provided at launch, must be checked separately against that server's notices and in-game screens.
Advancement Is Not Decided by Character Level Alone
The level conditions for higher classes confirmed in the current settings are as follows. 'Previous class level' is the condition for the designated class at the immediately preceding stage, and 'Total class level' is a separate condition. For example, the T2 figures 18 and 20 must not be read as character level 18 or 20.
| Arrival Stage | Previous Class Level | Total Class Level |
|---|---|---|
| T2 | 18 | 20 |
| T3 | 16 | 48 |
| T4 | 19 | 89 |
| T5 | 40 | 180 |
| T6 | 50 | 280 |
| T7 | 55 | 380 |
| T8 | 55 | 480 |
This table records the level conditions in the settings. For actual promotion, also check the progression conditions shown in the game. Because badge supply and region progression differ, these numbers alone cannot be used to calculate 'how many hours to reach T-something.'
How Many Previous Skills Remain?
Even in the latest client's default recommendations, previous skills from the same class line continue to be used. Comparing the defense and counter recommendations for Knight T2 with the corresponding recommendations for Paladin T3, 5 of the 8 active and passive slots are the same. The summon recommendations for Dominator T4 and Prophet T5 share 6 of 8 slots. These are real examples showing that the skeleton of the previous combination remains after advancement.
The remaining slots take new-stage skills or other skills from earlier stages. It is neither the case that low-stage and high-stage decks are completely identical, nor that every slot is changed upon advancement. This example is a comparison of the client default recommendation compositions and does not mean a ranking of the optimal combinations on the current server.
Also distinguish skill unlocking from acquisition. The game states that when a class skill is unlocked, it appears in Prayer. Assuming you own all such skills merely because you reached a new class makes it difficult to build the recommended deck as shown.
Can Skills from All Class Lines Be Used Together?
Using previous-stage skills from the same class line is different from mixing skills from another class line. The game states that a skill that does not match your current class will not apply in combat if it is in your deck. Switching to another class line involves a separate procedure and options for replacing existing skills with skills from the new line.
When choosing a combination, first match your current class and stage, then check the skills you own. A higher-stage deck can be saved as a later goal, and for your current build you can review current-stage skills that take the same role.
Do Existing Skills Automatically Evolve Upon Advancement?
The confirmed changes are the unlocking of new class skills and differences in class traits. Even when using the same skill, operation and results can differ depending on the class's stats, new passives, and the techniques used together. A skill's own grade and level enhancement and the character's other growth conditions must also be viewed separately.
In the settings and code confirmed so far, no common rule was found that advancement alone automatically replaces all existing skills with different skills or uniformly raises their quality. If hit count, target, or activation conditions have changed, check that skill's current description, enhancement conditions, and the applicable patch together.
Distinguish Combat Power Numbers from Actual Damage
The latest settings contain weights of approximately 1.20, 1.44, and 1.73 corresponding to T6, T7, and T8 skills. The use confirmed in the static code is for calculating a skill's combat power score. In that case, the basis is not the character's current advancement stage, but the stage of the class to which the skill belongs.
Therefore these numbers must not be used for a calculation such as 'When you advance to T6, the actual damage of all skills you used before rises by 20%.' Check changes shown on screen for combat power and actual combat effects under their own respective conditions.
Four Things to Check When Choosing Your Deck
- Match your current class and advancement stage with the server's unlock range.
- Check whether you have actually acquired the skills included in the recommendation.
- Check skill grade and level conditions and key activation conditions.
- Match the content you will use with the applicable region and patch.
The builder's default recommendations are 143 builds contained in the current client. They were checked against a general class skill pool of 376 skills for class lineage and a 4 active and 4 passive composition. Use the default recommendations as a starting point and adjust them to your owned skills and play purpose.
